Learning Photography

I'm entering a new world. The world of learning photography. Since I had Garrett and my mom lives another state away, she bought me this camera for my birthday. A new camera ment more pictures of Garrett for mom!

I absolutely love it. Now I just really have to figure out how to use it to it's full potential. I have to say, the users manual is very intimidating, all of it's 160 pages. I have learned some really great tips from reading Mckmama's blog at http://www.mycharmingkids.net/. She takes the most beautiful photographs.

For my first official Mother's Day, Daniel let me purchase this telephoto lens so that I could work with getting the close up shots.



Hopefully everything will come together and you'll start seeing some great pictures coming your way soon. I'm quickly learning that it's definately more than just point and click!

Of course I couldn't do an entire post without posting a picture of Garrett. This picture proves that even little boys have a sweet side.
